Novatech compatable ink cartridges

I bought an Epson stylus photo r300 from a friend recently as it can print onto cd. It was only used the day I installed it for him. I bought 6 compatable cartridges last month and the printer won't look at them.
Anyone got any ideas ?

if they are Novatech compatibles then throw them in the bin and buy anybody elses compats, they are useless, I have used others and had no troubles like these :cry:

Sorry to inform you, but the superb after sales team put a replacement in the post which I now have and it works fine.

Ok so 50% failure rate, buy more and you will get upto 80% like me
