OEM XP Pro - new CPU

I haven't got around to flashing the BIOS of my MSI Neo2-FR motherboard to enable use of an E5200 processor; but a conversation with a friend threw up a potential problem. When I bought the components in my signature (except the GTX260) I also bought an OEM copy of XP Pro Service pack 3. Does anyone know if by changing the CPU, it will invalidate the OS via the WGA? :confused:

nope it wont but if you change the motherboard you would have to clean install and will then reactivate as long as you have the actuel windows disk its quite painless and normally will just reactiveate over the internet without issue sometimes you have to call microsoft for an activation code just tell the operator your mobo/cpu died and you had to replace it there normally quite helpfull :D
