Hi people I am in a little bit of a dilemma just now recently purchased the following from novatech and put it together and theis a problem with the fans instead of having the PSU fan connectors they just have the 4 pin power connects on the front and the back fans the cpu is ok that has its own connector for the motherboard but the chassis fan and the power fan only have these 4 pin power connectors as I say. Anyone help out there, or do I need a cooling system ( I didnt get the cooling system as the novatech site say it was optional ) So please help if anyone can

THANKS in advance

Connect the 4 pin connectors on the fans to the PSU.

These are generic Molex connectors and are aimed at connecting direct to the PSU in order to not put too much supply or stress on the motherboard.

cheers mate for your reply but my PSu ( 500w ATX ) doesnt have any more of these connectors to connect to, only one free one that is plugged as the next in line for my harddrives. So I guess then that is a new PSU for me then recommend any?

I noticed in a few photos of the Shark case that there is a fan connector with the two 4 pin (male and female) but there wasnt one with mine I am looking into thermltake about that just now but have read a post somewhere on the net about the fact it could take about three weeks for a reply so trying other solutions

Anyway thanks again for the info mate

No need to change your psu just yet, you can get a y-peice splitter which you can use for the fans.

BTW, what PSU do you currently have??

the fans have 2 molex connectors,
part of the electricity goes to the fan and then goes through the other molex that can be attatched to other peripherals
