Hi,
I am having a problem with Vista, I replaced my graphics card to a GTX260, I think from this point on normally what happens is-

Boot up
Vista loads
I get a blue screen (within 10 secs)
Computer reboots
Vista loads
Error message saying "NTVDM.exe has stop working"
Vista works fine

It seem to be that if I dont get the error message it will reboot and if i do it is then fine, but on the odd time it will reboot even after the message but it takes longer to get the blue screen. I have looked at the Microsoft website and they seem tohave information on all operating systems but vista.

Many thanks

Can you try and press F8 repeatedly before windows loads, so that you get an option to boot into safe mode.

Then, try to uninstall the display drivers.
Try to boot into "normal" mode again.

Sounds like something hasn't been installed properly.

Does not seem to have helped, It was still crashing after I had uninstall the drivers
