A few days ago I set about trying to find the best ADSL 8Mb broadband service. I soon found that this was very difficult.

Almost all ISPs no employ an FUP (Fair Usage Policy) which limits your connection after downloading 3.5 webpages :) AOL doesn't. AOL has no contract (if migrating) and no usage caps! You don't need to use their hardware or software. Pure 8Mb ADSL for £30 pm. Tell me if you can find a bad thing about them.

Eclipse - http://www.eclipse.net.uk

FUP only applies from something like 6pm to midnight, and on there £10 a month package is 20GB, thats 20GB from 6pm to midnight... outside those hours download as much as you want.

oh, my referrer code is JMECLIPSE :D

been with em for 4 years now - been superb, only 1 outage in that time that was their fault - the other time it was our neighbour messing around up the telephone pole - to be fair, he did work for BT...

TELEWEST BROADBAND IS THE BEST

NO LIMITS, NO SOFTWARE TO BE INSTALLED, JUST THE BROADBAND BOX

Currently on 4mb @ £27 per month - not bad if your downloading 24/7  !

Cheers,

Not ADSL but ntl win :-)

talk talk = scam, same for the rest of those "appealing" ones.

although they recently introduced 50gb limit and fup etc, i have been impressed with Nildram, i have used them for several years now with any problems fixed in about 20mins without the need for me to contact anyone.
