I'm a bit worried about my temps. They seem a bit excessive for a stock athlon x2

Thanks for any help!

They're all a bit high but that one that is at 86! I don't know which temperature it is sensing but maybe you should try to test it by putting your computer under load? That temperature is NOT something I would want to see. Far from it.

I dont know where that temp is coming from either! thats what im shitting about lol. Im wondering if its speedfan that is making that number up?
I just switched my room fan onto it and everything has cooled down by 5 degrees bar that sensor so i thinks its just a dud.
Use coretemp or realtemp. No overclocker i know uses speedfan

that 86c might be your graphics cards memory io temp
completely normal if so as those vrms are rated at 100+c stated by ATI that is lol

Might want to give Lavalys Everest a try as it actually tells you which temps go to what.

Besides the 86c, the core temp of 54c isn't too healthy either. Whats the temperature of the room the computers in?

What are those two fans? Going at that speed they should be shifting plenty of air, even if they are both 80mm. What case do you have?

One is a little diddy fan for the copper fins on the asus m3n-ht deluxe and the other is my cpu fan(standard block)
My case is some ****** thing with the side taken off because my temps rocket with it on.
Im using my room fan to keep it cool atm so those temps your seeing there is with a huge *** fan blowing on then.
So look at temps and add 5 degrees to each and your there on a normal day without any assistance from my room fan.

the other day i satered benching and didnt realise i left my 4890 fan speed at 20%... i hit 93 degrees.. it wasnt until some form of ai kicked in and the fan kept whizzing at max then stopping over a few times until i thought.. i should check the fann OMG xD though i think the 4890 being esentiallallyyyalyalaylalyal a 4870 but not but so 93 degrees is still just within its safety margin.. xD
