no, but wont run as fast as running them on 2X16 slots, it will still run uber fast

There will be little or no difference in running a dual 8X vs a dual 16x mobo. Coz of the external dongle to interchange the data.

Also u wont get them running on a Nvidia 680i mobo either , unless u can get some hacked drivers :)

Only an ATI RD500 or RD600 chipset based mobo will have the dual 16x PCI-E slots.
