I recently lost all audio on my PC, built up from a Novatech barebones system.
The motherboard is a Foxconn 661 MO4 and the built in audio device presents itself in the hardware list as a VIA AC'97 Audio Controller (WDM).
I've tried re-installing it and updating the driver but no joy. The device status is:
This device cannot start. (Code 10)
Any hints or tips would be much appreciated. Could it be a BIOS setting, I did recently change the BIOS to the 'Failsafe Defaults' to solve another problem.
Cheers
