Yah my thoughts exactly. 4Ghz is my stock speed now. Love the song and with my card at stock and CPU @ 4Ghz you beat me by 1fps. :)

Might be some user error here - I finally got it to run - BUT at the end of the 3rd (?) test "Realtime Radiosity" it drops back to desktop with a "backend.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"

:(

TB lets see some quadfire results.

lol, I would love to mate, but it aint gonna happen with 2GB of RAM :( - ill have to wait until the rest is back from RMA :S

I think you need some i7 goodness in your life. you got the block right?

{SAS}TB
20-06-2009, 10:21 PM
yep, blocks here and wrapped around the x2, cheers, I was tempted with i7 but thought id do a "cheap" interim upgrade with the second x2, but what its cost me with the card, block and new PSU I could have gone i7 :S

The kick in the crotch is not being able to test them (ATM i get worse results with the 2 x2s than with a single :() but the 2g of RAM is looking like the cilprit (hopefully :()

Back on topic iv re-downloaded the bench and same thing regardless of screen res and it BSODs if i try to run "backend.exe" in the X64 folder :S

TB would your CPU be holding your cards back?

{SAS}TB
20-06-2009, 10:42 PM
possibly @ 3.6 - but from what I understand you need 2G of RAM to fully utilise a single x2 so not having the other aint helping - hopefully the RAM should be back early next week - in the meantime ill try pushing the CPU a bit :P

624.4 fps.

Not good, not bad. That was at 3ghz overclock by the way. I was too lazy to return to stock. SLI enabled, both cards factory overclocked. 760 core, 1890 shader, 2250 memory (mhz).
