Titan T2 Standby

I've recently bought a Titan T2 and I'm extremely happy with it. Only one issue so far that I'm having a problem with. When the laptop goes into standby mode (either by shutting the lid or pressing FN + F1) I can't get it to restart with out powering off. It either does nothing or the last time I did it it started to draw the screen but just locked up and I had to power off and back on again.

Am I missing a driver or something, has anyone got any suggestions?

instead of putting it onto standby, why not just turn it off :lol:

I have to restart the laptop by pressing and holding the power button to switch it off and then turn it back on as normal. Normally when a laptop goes into standby you just press a key or press one of the touchpad buttons (I also have an Acer laptop)

When running on battery if the laptop is left it will automatically go on to standby, XP restarts in a couple of seconds from standby (normally).

mine doesn't go in standby when I close my lid (I might've set it like that when I set it all up though), look in control panel power settings?

Mine simply turns off the screen and when opened turns on the screen.
