Lost COA Help!

My nephew's computer has crashed and he needs to reistall Windows XP but has lost his COA. Does anyone know how you can find out what your COA is? The computer was bought from Novatech - will they be able to help? Anybody have any ideas on this? Thanks.

didnt the computer come with a back-up CD that you could use

if you can get into the Operating system then there are applications that will show you your code etc.

phone up microsoft, they direct you to India, then you can get a verification code from them.

How has it crashed? have you tried safe mode? To get the code out of the machine its 10 times easier if you can get into windows somehow. Have you tried a system restore?
