If you need to find out what CPU and RAM that u are running then try this program

CPU-Z

http://www.cpuid.com/download/cpu-z-131.zip

This will tell you exactly your CPU and the speed and other details your running

Also it will tell you what make and various timings of your RAM installed in your system.

but that doesnt display the cpu's core, cache size or anything like that,im confused about cpu-z, in the bios i have oc'd my AMD 64 3000+ (newcastle) to 2.18, thats the indicated speed in bios boot , but cpu-z says that it is running at 1.7.this isnt a problem, an OC is an OC, but it just gets me in a (dare i say it) a cuffuffle
