Hi,
My PC is proving difficult to start.
When I first turn it on it starts for say 10 secs then powers down with the harddisk light (?) on and will not go any further. I then turn it off and restart and it goes on for a bit longer and so on and so on until eventually it is up and running. All seems to be OK once I rach the windows login page. Once running all is OK and it will not power down until I turn it off (several hours plus later). If I restart it now all is fine and it powers straight up. The problem only seems to exist when its been turned off for several hours, i.e. overnight. There is no one point that it powers down at. I think it s the PSU but would like to confirm. The PSU fitted has a Pt No of JJ-300PPGA on it. I've virus checked it and all is OK and the same with adware.
All help appreciated
Regards
Chris

Whats your spec?
Has this just started happening?
Have you got any CD/DVD disks in your drives - i had a similar problem a while ago, it took ages to boot up because my PC was trying to read the data on a music cd i had created (quite alot of music).
Once i took the CD out, i had no problems..
