I have a geforce 4200 ti 128mb agp. I recently bought battlefield 2 and found out that the 4200 cards are not supported. I would like to know what cards will run this game's but still be under £100's. My specs are P4 2.8Ghz 512 mb ram 8x dvd drive...i would also like to know by how much upgrading my ram will actually help game play...fanx

There's a few ATI cards here too. Have to ask someone else abou them though

And yes, BF2 is a ram hog, you'll want another gig from what people have told me.

basically any modern graphics card will support the game but how many fps's u get depends on which one you get.

depends on what resolution you play on and what amount of detail aswell

go with a 7600gs lets all face it the x1600 series sucks and until the 1650xt's come out and @ a reasonable price nvidia will just win in this category

if you wait until the X1650 comes out, then it will give the 7600GT a good run for its money

ok fanx guys i fink i mite go for the 7600GS. Is there any difficuilty in installing a new card (tools, more power, might not fit, etc)?

if you had an agp card before and you're getting a new one it will fit, also it will take a max of about 15 watts more energy as it doesnt seem to have any power supply ports on the card so it must get its power through the agp slot. its easier than putting a jigsaw together to put it in, take off the case locate the agp slot (it's probably at the top of the bank of ports on the top and has your 4200 in it) take out the 4200 and just plug in the 7600gs then update drivers and away you go
