I know this is a Novatech forum but I'm hoping someone can help me like RepairTech MGR  .

I bought a plasma screen from MarconiDigital almost 2 years ago. I have a warranty card which shows I have about 3 weeks left on it.

I have contacted RepairTech but I am getting a little annoyed with the (seemingly) lack of response from them. I have emailed them nearly everyday and I'm sure they are getting annoyed with me, but hey, I want my telly fixed!!!

I contacted Repairtech over 2 weeks ago and still I am with a broken screen which is under warranty and with no-one willing to help me.

My warranty is fast running out so I am desparate to get someone to fix it under the warranty.

My problem is when I switch on the scrreen, it appears as like a telly does when there is no aerial conected then the screen blacks out and a thick green line about 2 inches thick appears down the left hand side. I have had the screen connected through my NTL box using scart for all of it's life at my house.

Please, please someone help.

tick tick tick

With a bit of luck, someone in returns may be able to get you some more reliable contact info.

Can't really help, but i'll keep my fingers crossd for you. BTW, at this point, I would very seriously consider sending a registered (not just recorded) letter notifying them of the fault, then you have a bit of paper from the Post Office with a date stamp just incase it goes over the 3 years - you only have to notify the company of the fault before the warranty is up, and it sounds a bit like they are ignoring you :(

Hello,

I think the problem maybe that im sure this unit is manufactured by Hyundai Corporation and not Hyundai IT (Formally Hyundai Imagequest), as it happens RepairTech do not hold the warranty contract for Hyundai Corp. I do not have the contact details for Hyundai Corp to hand, and i am not sure who does the repairs but i can confirm that RepairTech do not.

Sorry i have not been able to help in this case.

M.

Edit : Just found branch office Telephone number (Germany +49-6196-9008-0)

Thank you both for your comments.

I shall contact that number now. Just out of interest if you know that this screen was manufacturered by Hyundai Corporation and not Hyundai IT then why the **** hasnt Natasha @ RepairTech told me this? Why have I had to wait for 2 weks for any information regarding this screen which still isnt forth coming?

Thanks for your help though.
