NOV-DVDR3 Novatech Dual Layer 16x DVD+/-RW DVD-Ram 3 Be

hi guys on the 7th may 06 i brough NOV-DVDR3 Novatech Dual Layer 16x DVD+/-RW DVD-Ram 3 Bezel Retail kit with Software.

Problem is that it will not read any type of disk now, it did work upintill yesterday were i put another CDRW/DVD as a slave (this worsk fine)

i have gone through may different options through changing the around from master to slave & vice versa but nothing & i have tryed it on it own again & it still dose not read the disk

i have tryed many diffrent disk from a diffrent pc 2 a blank,DVD,MP3,DVD Games & so on i have also checked to see if the firmware is upto date & it is so if any 1 could help me in any way it would be very geratfull.

if this is caput will i be able to exchange it ??

i did buy 2 of these.

Right can some one plz tell me why iam not able to read a dvd disk that i have burnt with NOV-DVDR3 Novatech Dual Layer 16x DVD+/-RW DVD-Ram 3 Bezel Retail kit with Software on any other pc ??????
