does anyone know how much ram the motherboard can take up to ?

also is there an available bios update, i can only find an update on the uniwill site for 259en3 and i do not know if it is the same mobo.

Yes, it will be fine. If you fancy a giggle, get hold of the Alienware M5500 BIOS for an Alienware splash screen (same chassis and components). Before I sign off on that advice, can you confirm yours is the Pentium-M processor and not a Core 2 ?

I'm pretty sure it's 2Gb on that board as a maximum. Don't use the BIOS you've found if you have a Core 2 CPU otherwise... end of laptop !

I'm guessing you have Novatech's Nitro Laptop as do I. I have been searching for a working link to the V2.03 BIOS without sucess.

If you did manage to get a copy could you please post a link.
