Are you doing this yet or do you plan to do it soon?

i am sure when vista is officially released we will be selling systems with vista pre-installed.
What I think he means is.
Do the PC's you sell with XP at the moment, come with a free upgrade voucher to Vista?
I would like to know this too. I am contemplating a buying / building a new system.

I think some companies are offering a voucher for a Windows Vista update with the purchase of a new PC with Windows XP installed. It sounds like you don't do this yet - a pity in a way as even the cheapest Icon range is a 64 bit processor and might benefit from Vista.
By the way welcome to Bristol, I haven't pushed the 1 hour delivery side yet but its very handy.

Well i've just purchased a new PC from Novatech and i did get the upgrade voucher. However it refuses to accept the upgrade voucher's number on the site you have to visit (then you have to send off the completed voucher to the Netherlands).
I've sent the moduslink site an email about it, but i've yet to recieve a reply. It's frustrating as i wanted to order vista and have the completed form posted before christmas (takes 6-8 weeks to actually get your copy of vista, according to the small print).

Sounds like it is worth waiting for the Machines with Vista included to arrive on site. Should happen within the next few weeks I would imagine.

Erm, what does this voucher look like, exactly? Because I don't think I received one, even though I should have. I guess I thought I'd only need the XP serial number or something.
Problem is, I can't check now, as I've just returned the PC to Novatech, and they wanted me to send everything I received with it.

You get a voucher but vista isn't free. Get a little bit off I think, there is a website about it.
