View Full Version : Monitor Issue - Slightly Annoyed.

I bought the Hyundai W240D from Novatech in November of 2007, one of the main reasons being it offered three-years on-site warranty. Recently my monitor has started flickering, after trying different monitors, and using different cables, putting in a different GPU, being absolutely sure it is in the Monitor, I contacted Novatech about it. I was referred to Hyundai, who are picking up the Monitor on Monday, and are going to take 7-10 working days to repair the monitor, as opposed to swapping them. With no other monitor, I'm slightly annoyed.
Just a little rant I suppose. :think:

to be honest I think its quite good that they are picking up and you are not having to post it. Also 7-10 days is not bad, i've had 25-30 days before.

some manufacturer and repair centres have different interpretations of the terms "on-site swap" and although it'd be great if they could swap it there and then, i suppose it's only fair they get the chance to ensure it's faulty. I do however agree and think the turn around time is quite good and the fact they are collecting so soon should be commended. I've seen much worse!
