I want to buy a system unit over the next few weeks but want to understand whether a voucher is provided for the free upgrade to Vista? I'm assuming XP will be installed then allow me to move to Vista at a later date when it's available?
Also, what's the difference in upgrade options if I bought XP Pro rather than XP home ?
Thanks for your help
Mike
Well what I will tell you mate is this. If you have any apps or hardware that is not Vista sitificated then you most likely cant run it. (Stay with XP Pro for about 1 more year untill they get things sorted out.)

The free upgrade is a Microsoft offer not Novatech.

Express Upgrade to Windows Vista offers are available from participating computer manufacturers, including those from the list below.
In other words NO.
Express Upgrade to Windows Vista offers are also available from your local PC builders. To find a local PC builder near you, click here.

Yeah, exactly why I posted the original question. Would much rather buy a PC from Novatech but not if I don't get a free Vista upgrade certificate. I may as well go to Dell instead!! :)
Mike
Don't go to Dell !! :x
Vista is released to general public on 30th Jan
o dear, support calls here they come. "My drivers dont install, my software dont instell" etc..
