its on the new amd quad mobo's but its so stupid. who needs 4 x16 graphics slots? albeit at x16, x16, x8, x8 but what are they expecting sli physx cards? and if you have dual height coolers like many top cards do they it wouldnt fit! but just immagine 4x 8800gtx's and 512 shaders! anyway your thoughts please! (another one dual quad sli!)

The plan was to have 2x cards in SLI, with a 3rd PCI-E for an nvidia or other physics card or something so thats why there are a few 3 slot mbs out there. They then decided to put 2x SLI connectors on the 8800 so everyone thought there was gong to be quad SLI going on, which isn't supported by anything at all and proberly won't be for some time to come if at all. By the time they do sort anything the ATI R600 chipset will be out and will proberly be better O_o

4x 8800gtx would be insane and immature.

would be good, but very cpu bound tbh , and not alot of people have a big enough monitor to make that kind of a thing necessary
