Hi I'm John,
I bought a Novatech Nforcer 3800 with Windows XP installed last Tuesday.
I have a couple of USB External hard drives with all my files saved from my previous pc on them. The problem I am having is that my new Novatech pc will not install these hard drives in order for me to transfer all my stuff. Neither can I use a memory stick, if I look in Device Manager they are shown with yellow question marks next to them. The hardware update wizard tells me to use the installation CD. Windows XP should install them, can anyone help this computer idiot.

windows doesnt have specific drivers, just generic ones

I don't have a clue what's wrong here, my external hard drives and memory sticks work fine on my other pc and my laptop too. It's a brand new computer, I should not have to **** about trying to get plug and play devices to work, they should install themselves with Windows XP. ****...I hope I've not made a big mistake buying Novatech, I sent a request for help to Novatech support 2 days ago and I've been ignored.

It's all sorted now, I searched the internet for a solution and eventually found it.

It's a good job I was able to get this problem sorted myself eventually, Novatech Support never bothered to reply to my request for help. It doesn't exactly fill me with confidence for future problems should any occur.
