currently it's kinda a "any colour as long as it's blue" affair and "any size as long as it's 30cm" also.

All three times i have been cold cathode shopping I've noticed nowhere actually has a complete array of colours and sizes (well one competitior does, but had it come in a box full of foam it wouldn't have been destroyed on arrival...)

AC Ryan do blue, green, red and white twin packs in 10, 20 and 30cm sizes at great prices. The kits appear to be of a high standard too, sleeved cables, PCI cover switch, over-heating protection (my last cathode burned to death so this sounds good)

The problem with this is cold cathodes are only purchased by a select few and as such may not take enough in the market at present. Having said that Nova sell Core i7 so I suppose I will have to agree :P

Hi there

Shall get Ritesh to look in the direction of this thread. Am sure he can get some AC Ryan and possibly expand the Akasa options. :)

Yes but that's the nice thing about novatech. If you phone them saying you need a socket 478 motherboard, they'll buy one in as a one off just because you want one. Likewise there is a product 4 people display interest in they are happy to stock some for those 4 people :p

One thing I will say is maybe there would be more interest in CCFLs if there was actually a choice of colour and/or size!
