Wow - fantastic monitor for the money. Got two of the Iiyama 22's now and they are both brilliant. At £125 I'd have a third if you'd come round and make my desk bigger :D

Great price indeed - but "true 16:10 High Definition 1680 x 1050 native resolution" - i thought you needed a res of 1080 for True HD...???

HI there

Yep that needs wording better, its HD, but not true HD as such. I shall improve Iiyama's wording so it does not confuse. :)

Is this better than the Novatech monitor? I must say I do rather like the design but I've never heard of lilyama before, are they a reliable brand?

Hi there

Iiyama have been around for years!

Novatech model is awsome value, but this is a better specification for a small amount more and it looks nicer too. I'd be buying this but you cant go wrong with either. :)

Iiyama are one of the best and most established display manufacturers around.

why is everyone wanting a letter box to view their stuff?

16:10 is standard widescreen computer monitor ratio. 16:9 is ugly letter box. missing a few lines top and bottom. 1680x1050 is the perfect res for gaming. 1920x1200 is the perfect res for working and movies, nothing in between is good.

Phewww, that was close, almost clicked "buy" but managed to stop myself.

Does the portsmouth branch have a decent range of monitors (around 22" to 24" size) on display? I'd like to "see" the "cheap" brands in the flesh before buying one, although i'm sure they're all lovely.
