Hi I've just bought this model........

Mine has an HDMI input and no DVI input even tho the specs on Novatech state it should have a DVI socket. Also the manufacturers website states it has a DVI input. I suppose I should be happy tho as HDMI socket is better isn't it?

The answer to HDMI or DVI is neither really in terms of video quality since they are both the same in real terms, the only difference between them really is that HDMI carries the audio channel as well as video, but DVI only carries video. Can not answer the first bit since i am not familiar with the Atec brand.

Two variants - One is DVI, one is HDMI

Personally I think DVI is better just because it is a more robust connector. In terms of quality their performance will be identical.
