Hi, well I will be off to university soon and I'm after a laptop that I can take home with me and to where I'm going to be living. I will still have my desktop, but unfortunately I can't carry that around :(
I'm after something that can play games fairly well, nothing amazing, but decent enough (so I'm not bored at home ::op:)
My price range is £700 - £1000 (no more). I have looked at Novatech's laptops, but they don't do anything between £600 - £1200 price range...
Thanks!

Samsung R710 - Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz - 17 " - 3 GB Ram - 320 GB HDD, mine copes with medium level games well, portal, SINs, Halflife, get on average 2 hour battery while gaming, but then again depends if you want a big laptop or not.

I just got one of the new £749 Macbooks with an Nvidia 9400M 256mb (shared) with a 2.13ghz Core2Duo, 2gb DDR2 800Mhz RAM and a 160gb HDD.
Im Running XP Sp3 32bit under bootcamp for playing games. Currently have CS:source, Left4Dead, UT3, Trackmania, GTA:Vice City, TF2, DoD: Source and BattleForge. All of them run at decent frame rates and at decent quality settings. CoD4 runs ok'ish at 25fps but not ideal, will try Bioshock at somepoint.

And before I get shot down by people for suggesting a Mac ..just remember ..It was a suggestion.
