Who makes Novatech Laptops

May sound a silly question, but are Novatech Laptops made purely for Novatech or are the re-badged from other makers?

Sorry for asking so many questions about Novatech but i want to make sure i make the right choice in buying my laptop, something i did not do when buying my desktop pc, which has been a nightmare after buying from a dodgy firm in North London!

The tw I have bought are produced by ECS / Uniwell. There is a website afor ECS.

I am very pleased so far with the two laptops I have just bought for my daughters for their university work.

I honestly don't think Novatech wold risk there hard-earned reputation by selling poorly made units

no I don't work for Novatech just a very satisfied customer of several years building/ expanding pcs

our chassis arent re badged - we badge them up ourselves as we build into the laptops onsite on our production line here in porchester- as nox said his two have been ECS/Uniwill which are great quality chassis

Which is all rather strange as my son has a Novatech laptop which is really a AJP 8050D!! Incidentally AJP have a web site and list that model! So is it more correct to say that Novatech rebadge a laptop or 'build from parts' and then put on their badge?

8050D, this is a mitac laptop part number. mitac used to supply the chassis for our laptops and we would add the main components like cpu, hdd, memory and so on.
