Hi there

Novatech has another exclusive for you guys, were the only people to actually have stock of this product but it is extremely limited:-

Asus ATI Radeon HD 4890 Formula 1024MB GDDR5 TV-Out/Dual DVI/HDMI PCI-Express - Retail

http://images.novatech.co.uk/ev-asu-4890f12.jpg

The ATI Radeon 4890 graphics card is ATI's new single core flagship graphics card. Based on the 4870 architecture this card features a new GPU and much faster GDDR5 memory. Clocking in at 900MHz core speed and 4000MHz out of the box this card is anywhere between 15-20% faster than the previous 4870 graphics card. In our own testing we found these cards to perform extremely well but things start to get really exciting when you use the supplied ATI Overdrive utility within the catalyst drivers. Early rumous have seen cards reaching insane speeds as high as 1000MHz core and 4800MHz memory. In our own testing we found the cards remained stable upto 1020MHz core and 4800MHz memory which results in nearly 35% performance improvement over the 4870 cards and performance was incredibly close and sometimes matching GTX 285 performance levels. Now Novatech does not guarantee that these cards will overclock the same for everyone but it seems safe to say cards should happily run at 950MHz core area and 4400MHz memory. Needless to say ATI have a winner on their hands with the 4890 graphics cards.

Once again "claim" is the operative word, getting to be a habit this stock magically appearing once Nova announce exclusives.

Yup, I agree.

I am surprised that Nova don't take it up with OcUK. This is the second time an 'exclusive' has been spoilt by them, if Nova do have the exclusive rights then they should protect them.

HI there

Its exclusive as far as in were first to have stock, which we do indeed, though only 7pc left at moment.

Next shipments are not due for days, if not weeks, fact is leave OcUK to do what they wish, at the end of the day if they keep on telling porkies about stock, customers will eventually have enough and will stop trusting their stock system all together which will in the end result in lost sales.

If they are happy to decieve customers in such ways, well leave them too it as that is just wrong. I'd be will to bet anyone who orders now won't get one tomorrow from their and when the customer rings to enquire they will no doubt be fobbed of with some excuse about how busy they were.......

So exclusive in Nova speak only means you got the 1st delivery and not that you are the only stockist?

Whilst its only available from us its exclsusive, when next stock comes through which is unknown we may no longer be exclusive but for now only we have stock. :)

That is a terrifyingly ugly card :P

Clever Idea though, to make the cards a little more attractive.

I'm sorry, but when they stick a racing car on the GPU, that's where I draw the line. As a fully paid up pipe and slippers oldie, I get a bit tired of buying gear with busty elven warrior artwork all over the box. At first, it was nice to see the box doesn't actually contain any gravity defying *******, but then I realised the boy-race theme was actually continued onto the product itself, that's really going to far.

Luckily I already have a perfectly nice toxic 4870 and won't be upgrading soon :)
