hi

i have just brought all these parts from yourself

i have now put it all together now, but there is an code on the motherboard CODE 20

i have checked the manual it says the code means "Relocate System Management Interrupt vector for all CPU in the system" any ideas ?

Are you sure its an error code and not the board temp,mine shows around 22-23 on the led,I would just double check.

If it isn't as Scrivz suggests, check that everything is plugged in correctly, remove all sticks of RAM except the one closest to the processor, and any unecessary hardware that isn't required for boot up. Also, double check all power connections (4pin or 8 pin ATX to the mobo and the big 24 pin to the mobo from the power supply).

I have Just checked my user manual,and the code 20 is correct,if everythings running ok it could just be the temp.The easiest way to check is when you turn it on just watch the L.E.D. display if it posts ok I think it is just showing the temp of the board.Mines at 23 at i type this.
