Depends what you wanna use it for really. Its certainly no games machine but should be fine for pretty much everything else ...apart from 3d modelling and such like.

I would put another £100 on it and get a HP/Compaq or a Dell.

well primarily for doing uni work on my travels (trains) back and forth from uni to girlfriends. No need for a high end gaming laptop. Looked at netbooks but they seems to lack on the processor side, being single core and unable to multitask etc. So i figure for a latop, dual core, with a nice amount of ram basically, that seems to fir the bill nicely, just dont like the white keyboard!
