View Full Version : Scythe Gentle Typhoon 120mm Fan 1450RPM
Just picked up the latest issue of Custom PC today and wow. I knew these were good, but wasn't expecting the results CPC got.
Testing these gave them 61CFM @ a 28.6dB rating.. thats amazing. Even when slowed down to get near the 20dB mark these would probably hit the 40CFM mark still.
I only know one place that stock these in the UK and i really don't want to shop there as they are **** poor. Could we get these amazing Scythe fans in please NT?

Lol, no. Didn't know they did them.. still a **** retailer though. I'm on about SpecialTech.
Any idea on these NT?
They are king of low dB to high CFM on the market.

Hi there
Excellent work Rick! :)
Great work! I don't want to sound naggish (if thats actually a word lol), but the actual Typhoon you need is the AP-14 modal that spins @ 1450RPM.

shazzam! - no stock at suppliers for x10 days though :(
Nice price NT. Best I've seen :D Yea, i thought they would be. Custom PC and Bit-Tech did a fan article including these and they came out top. Next day, they were all out of stock lol.

Most users at Silentpcreview have now swapped from Noctua to the Gentle Typhoon.
