View Full Version : First purchase with Novatech, what the **** is going on.

First browsed the website and thought that finally I could order the computer with the perfect specs I wanted, at the perfect price. I used the live help and was told that if I ordered it with next working day delivery, I should receive it on wednesday or thursday at the latest.

So I went on to order an Executor 6400 over a week ago now. My first purchase with Novatech.

On tuesday I used the Live chat service to find out what the progress was with it. I was informed that it should be finished on the wednesday and possibly despatched that day, so I should receive it thursday (next working day delivery). I was told that this was only a possibility, if it wasn't despatched wednesday, it would definitely be despatched the day after, and I quote.. "at the latest".

Thursday arrives, no sign of the pc. I log onto the Live chat service. I'm informed that it wasn't despatched on the wednesday and that it should definitely be despatched today. I was asked to pop back onto the live chat service at 4pm to collect the tracking number.

I come on at 4pm.. "Sorry, it seems it wasn't despatched today".

What the **** is going on?

Even worse, if it does finally get despatched on the friday, I wont be receiving it until monday, which will be 5 days after the first date I was told I should have received it.

Very disappointed and frustrated.

Sir,

I have looked into your order and have noticed you have placed an order with the finance option. This does add a few days to the order process as the finance company have to run their own checks and processes before your order is approved and we are notified the order can go ahead. Only at this point will any items on your order be allocated, and if required, a build request put through. Unfortuently the PC selected was not in stock and does need to be built so it has added a few days onto the date of readyness that would have been given an estimated date for.

If finance had not been selected, then the request for build would have been immediate and it is much more likely that the PC would be with you as you where advised. Sales would have informed you of a due date based on a standard sales transaction so my apologies if you where misinformed. I have checked with our production department and they have informed me your PC is on track to be ready for despatch today. Due to the inconvenience caused I have upgraded your delivery to a Saturday at no extra cost to yourself so you should recieve it tomorrow, sometime before 1pm.

If you have any further problems or queries please let me know, and I will also call you to confirm these details and despatch once I have been advised that it has taken place.

Now it really is frustrating.

Atleast you're keeping me informed with what's happening. But I'm still not too happy with the current situation.

PC is now ready for despatch, and I have arranged delivery on a pre12 for tomorrow.

I will call to confirm details in a few moments :)
