Does anyone know how to put films/video's on a nokia 8GB N95

Im after a program to compress the dvd to make sure I can fit a few on.Nokia's software is usless.:)

Evening Paul, a quick google on the subject brings up software that costs around $20. It'll compress down to the 320x240 res of the phone screen makig each film around 350-500mb in size so you can get a fair few on. I'll have a more detailed look later, (on phone at mo) and will see if any trial software will convert a full film. That way you can try it first instead of commuting to it.

it does install a few programs but it uses them all to rip a dvd so just give it a try


you wont need ac3 sound so opt for mp3 and 700mb cd

once you have this then its a lot easier to convert again for the phone

That app doesn't seem to support mp4 at the moment, so I dont think it could. A good program for ipod:

It just converts though, I dont think it can rip DVDs.
