The new supporting I5 Ripjaw kits look very impressive with their lower voltages could mean for much higher overclocking potential. Also remember these kits support I5, they are not exclusively for I5 so will also work in other Intel and AMD Dual Channel DDR3 configurations as well. :)

Yes but lower voltage is always a good thing.

Less voltage means less heat and can also improve scope for overclocking headroom as well. :)

those RAM looks very good. if Corsair Dominators (reported need 1.8v) doesn't work out for me, i'll order the 1600Mhz cas9 dual channel

Intel i5 is not long at all, i've already got i5 750 and Asus p7p55d deluxe motherboard. will post about it soon :)
