OK - my understanding is that if I want to upgrade to Windows 7, as opposed to performing a full re-install and reinstalling all of the applications, then I need to go via Vista i.e. upgrade to Vista Home Edition and then on Oct 22nd upgrade to Windows 7.
Is this correct?
Also I should be able to upgrade to 64-bit version of Vista because my computer is an Asus p5w dh delux with an E6600 chip and is therefore 64-bit.
Again, correct?
Any advice, guidance and/or pointers most appreciated
