I'm also waiting for a PC System from Novatech (Isys Max 7600) but due to a breakdown in communication between the finance company and Novatech there was a delay in accepting my order and I missed out when the PC was in stock. Here's a brief summary:
Order number: 3938777
Monday January 1st: Ordered using finance with V12. Posted signed agreement back to V12 immediately. Stock on websites says 3 - 4 days with estimated delivery for Monday 8th January.
Wednesday January 3rd: Received e-mail from V12 (11am) to confirm they have received and agreed to the finance agreement. The e-mail also says V12 have notified Novatech to proceed with my order.
Check in my order account and it says "on hold"
Wednesday evening: Novatech website says system is in stock so I assume I would be getting on of these!
Thursday January 4th: Novatech website now says out of stock. Again, I assume that one will have been reserved for me. I check my account and it still says on hold. Hmm....
Friday January 5th: Phone Novatech to check that I will be getting one of the systems that came in stock on Wednesday but was told they didn't activate my order even though V12 finance gave them the go ahead. They corrected this for me while I am on the phone. Was told there was a motherboard shortage and they don't know when they will have more in.
So... If my order had been updated when V12 accepted the finance agreement I would have been allocated one of the systems that were in stock on Wednesday / Thursday! Arghh!!
My order had now been changed to 'awaiting stock' but I don't know how long it will be now.
Novatech customer services were very helpful and polite on the phone but could not say when I would get the system.
Does anyone at Novatech have a new E.T.A. for this system?
