I'm a newbie at this - I have put a Gigabyte motherboard (GA-965P-S3 Intel Core 2 Duo) into the case and hooked up the power to the Tt fans on the Soprano case but the fans also have a single YELLOW wire each. What are these for? where do they connect to? The CPU fan is already connected to the motherboard.
Thanks for all help.

Hi Teknoid, thanks for the quick reply. Yes there is a plug a brown one with the one yellow wire going into it. It is a small brown oblong shape with 2 prongs sticking out on the plugging in end. there are holes for three wires. On the plug is "2510 KSP". Does this explain it enough? I could take a picture if needed.

so it is a 3 pin fan header but with just 1 wire going into it
you dont actually need to use this wire
just tuck it behind something :D
all it does is regulate the fan speed, but seeing that it is probably a 120mm fan, it will already be quiet

Hi Taxation - OK so I can ignore it then, thanks. I thought that it might have served a useful purpose as it was there. I still couldn't find any 3 pin sockets on the motherboard to match it anyway. There is one 4 pin called Sys fan I suppose that one might be used in other circumstances?
