I want to put together a new system and was wondering if the following combination will work ok

AMD X2 Duel Core AM2 64 Athlon 5000 2.6GHz (although I may go for the 5200 as its only a few quid on top)
Asus M2N4- SLi AM2 DDR2 PCI-E SATA II Raid GB LAN
Corsair XMS6400 2GB 800Mhz Non-ECC DDR2 SDRAM

I would like a suggestion for a mid-range Grapics card. I'm only an occasional gamer and I'm looking for common compatibility more than performance and spec.

I would like to know if I install WinXP Pro (non-64bit version), am I going to run into any compatibility problems?

7900gs
1900gt
1900xt
1900gto
if you do a froogle search then you can find a very cheap 7900gt which is a slower clocked 7900gtx with less RAM, very good card and slightly better than the 7900gs

x1950 pro!! they are £123 here http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/119203 sorry nova but ebuyer is £30 cheaper on this 1 and the x1950 pro is faster and better looking than the 7900gs :)
