If we've taken the money it normally means that the stock has been allocated to your order and the goods are to be despatched. Having no email is a bit odd though.

Hi Brad

I'm looking at your order now - it appears to be back ordered - i.e. we're awaiting stock.
Apparently these are so popular that we cannot get any more than the backordered ones (which includes yours), so yours along with everyone else's should be in with us mid-next week (fingers crossed :))

Given that there's 8 available at http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?MSI-P55GD6 , what's the hold up? I've selected saturday delivery so if it doesn't get dispatched in time for that, it'll be another week before I'm able to build my system.

I think they are considering our orders different to the normal price orders. Even though its the same item. I will be calling tomorrow and finding out when i will be getting my board.

I've checked and the reason why they're still under backorder is that they are promotional ones (so you're right on that).

We should hopefully be getting these in tuesday-wednesday next week according to our purchasing guys.

If all goes well we should have stock arrive today and enough to fill all the remaining backorders on this so you should get your boards tomorrow/Friday. :)

I was one of the users that tried to order one of the remaining 6 GD65 boards on that Wednesday at 2pm but missed out by seconds with allocation. As such, my order is currently showing as "Backordered". Does your statement above mean the people in the same position as my self ("backordered") will be able to receive one or does it only mean those that had "Allocated" shown at the time? :)
