hi there,

not sure if this is an application problem or a hardware problem.

i have a Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe mobo from novatech.

when i run the supplied CD theres a program on there to install a bios update tool, when i run that it says 'setup detected non ASUS motherboard, installion aborted.'

ive tried downloading the tool from asus site and same problem. but when i run CPU-Z it recognize's the mobo as being an Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe

anyone had the same problems, no an answer.

ive tried getting help from asus but it's a pain in the ar*e - fill this form, fill that form, etc...

thanks in advance people

i have that board, brilliant board in my opinion
i havent installed the bios update tool, you can still flash the bios in the ol' fashion way

have you tried the asus forums??

dont have a floppy drive, so cant do it that way - is there a different way??

updating the bios isn't really that important to me, its the fact that it doesnt recognize the board that concerns me.

i think you can flash the bios with a pen drive or a CD, just the same way as with flashing with a floppy
