I probably would've got an answer of TMDD on msn, but msn seems to be dead at the moment :(

ok... my Multiplier isn't locking itself -.-

Thermal Management Control - Enabled
PPM(EIST) Mode - Disabled
Limit CPUID MaxVal - Disabled
C1E Function - Auto
Execute Disable Bit - Enabled
Virtualization Technology - Enabled
Core Multi-Processing - Enabled

What do i need to change? :S
my board is a DFI x48 DK-T2RS

I don't want to insult you with this next suggestion, but i'd feel bad for not mentioning it/trying to help... since you've turned off the obvious (EIST, speedstep etc) what is "Thermal Management Control?" turn it off and see what happens.

Alternatively set the multi to manual and try putting it on "1 lower than stock" (yes, not at all ideal for OC'ing since you're now demanding even more FSB capability from your mobo, but a decent thing to try for the sake of trying it)

EDIT - Gah. beaten to it by THREE people AND I failed to notice C1E on auto xD *facepalm*

Thanks for advice, I've also never seen Thermal Management Control, and will do some research on it, as for OC, i usually used to have 7x533 (3.731Ghz) which I liked :D, but x8 seems to be better :D

hmm i still haven't found the ability to changed the CPU vCore in the BIOS, but I'm impressed that the Board is quite intelligent, not Over Volting at all, it seems to be giving my Proccessor just what it needs, like i had 1.186 @ 3.2 Ghz, and now i'm onto 1.216v at 3.6Ghz :D

It will never be fast enough, you will be trying to get every last ounce of performance out of that thing, and love every minute of it! :rocker:
