Allocated saturday order

I placed an order today (friday) around 4pm for saturday delivery (26/09/09)....

Just checking now and the status is "allocated"

Does this mean that it has not even been picked and packed yet? if so what are the chances it will be shipped tonight or early tommorow and arrive tomorrow?

If it does not arrive tomorrow am i able to get a refund for part of the delivery cost as it cost £13 for saturday delivery because i did not want to wait until monday but it would have been cheaper.

If you do not recieve the goods on saturday, paid for saturday delivery, placed the order within the time constraints (i.e. before the cut off for the day), and the good were reported as in stock at the time of ordering then we can certainly look at refunding the delivery. If you could PM me your order number I can have a look at that on Monday for you.

Regarding the order status: allocated means that the goods have been reserved for you but not invoiced. This means that the goods have not gone anywhere, but also you have not been charged anything either.
This can happen if one or more item is/are not in stock, the payment was declined for some reason, or (very rarely) the order got "stuck".

BTW did you mean 25/09/09 rather than 26/09/09...?

Hey Mike,

I have PM'd you my order number, it still shows as allocated so i did not recieve the order on saturday...I hope my order is not stuck...i have checked with my bank and there is no current block on my account.

I placed the order and recieved an e-mail at around 3.30 so it was before the cut off period i think, and at the time the item was showing 6 in stock (now only 2)

Please do what you can for me.

..ps i ment i ordered the item on 25/09/09 which was a friday so the delivery was showing for saturday 26/09/09 ;)
