do i really need to leak test? in the manuals it says u dont need to/doesnt mention it and there pre-built systems so its not as if they wont fit? i reckon ill do an hour or two anyways.

so why ask if you are
you should always do a leak test because you dont know if the fittings are done correctly and tight enough to prevent water leaking when at pressure

but for how long? would 1hr be enough seen as this is a pretty simple system?

my aquacomputer system was on leak test for 48 hours

tbh i think if theres a leak your gonna know. and ill keep checking it every 10mins or so as im installing away

there could be a gradual lek that you might not know about in 10 minutes, only after a proper leak testing time will you be able to say

"yup, it isnt leaking"

Have I not told you - don't beleive everything you read on the internet!! Especialy if this is your first watercooling setup. imagine blowing up your stricker and having to wait for novatech to get some more in :p
