Hello, as the title suggests I need some help on what sort of power adapter I need..

I bought a novatech laptop in April of last year and the power supply seems to have died, I voltage tested it and found its definately not the laptop or battery..

The laptop I have is a NNB-394 Titan 17" WS AMD Turion 64 MT34 1024MB DDR 100gb HDD ATI RS482M Radeon Xpress 200 Graphics DVD-RW.

It cost about 700 pounds so as you can tell I really need this power supply.. I've been looking at one on the website I've pasted a link below.. I just need some advice as to whether this is the correct sort of one I need.. All I can see is that it mentions 'titan' which is my range.. However the ones listed are higher spec slightly different to what I have..

http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/spec ... ?NCA-ACX72 (http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/specpage.html?NCA-ACX72) - Maybe this one will work?.... I also dont see any AMD based systems up there anymore.. Please dont say they've been discontinued!!!!

Help would be appreciated.. I'll try and post a screenie of the broken adaptor maybe...

Thanks in advance!

If this is the case, if you contact tech support they can advise you but if only brought under a year ago the PSU will be still in warranty and can be replaced.

Okay, I'll check the warranty dates.. Is that from date of purchase?.. or the date I actually opened the laptop and started using it.. either case it was around april or may of last year.. So it should in effect still be in warranty..

Thanks! - I'll report back here with the results..

Thanks for your help! I phoned tech support and obtained my returns code and they'll send me another one!
