Crossfire 2 shuts down

Hi, got a Crossfire 2 a few months ago.

All works well except since yesterday it's been shutting down of it's own accord.

Pointer device freezes on the screen for a few seconds, lots of whirring and disk activity then it just powers off.

Seems to happen randomly, whether I'm doing anything with it or it's just idling. Not noticed any overheating or suchlike. Happened twice within the last 3 hours.

Nothing found on search, any ideas or should I call support?

Just run a cpu temp monitor prog called coretemp.

Tells me it's around 65C, occassionally 70C.

Is this good? :?

Bump im having the same problem.

can you give me the full specs of the machine, where your using it, the type of surface.

also could you check that the AMD processor driver is installed from the driver cd. without this the cpu will fail to clock down when not being used generating un-nesseary heat and power usage.
