I have two laptops both supplied by Novatech. One battery just won't hold any charge and can only be operated on mains power. I even took the time and trouble to travel 100 miles to Portsmouth to discuss the problem with your staff but got no joy. Just how do I go about getting a replacement battery BP-8050 (S)? Please don't tell me to order it from USA. The other laptop, is about to follow my other in battery life. Unplugged from the mains I can get about 15 minutes, if I'm lucky. I prefer the older laptop as it is on XP and all my programs and hardware work. The Vista Home Premium is a pain and I won't be replacing its battery. I have reserved a place in the bin for it when it expires! Posh Paddy.

There is a lot of commonality within laptops and parts used / chassis used etc.

I'd just Google it

Then see if the picture represents the battery you have.

BP-8050 finds me a few Google UK hits.£36.23 is the cheapest I found at a very quick search.
