The problem i have at the moment which i just recently notice is that the display device i have is not supported for the battle field 2 game - so it wont work on my laptop???? spec of laptop shown below:

most laptops have the vidseo card built into the motherboard so its not possable to upgrade the video card.

sorry to reign on your parade but graphics card upgrades on notebooks are **** near impossible although all is not lost you can get a sort of external graphics card in a box which would be good for playing games on a lappy

i have only ever seen 1 usb video card and this would be a serious downgrade to what you have.

nice usb card i no what u mean by down grading - its just a pain that the battlefield games dont support my graphic display device.

though for some reson i have trouble running call of duty 2 but for some reson my direct x is the problem ? got the latest update. - no 9! though i have notice that it says it only supports certain graphic cards like it says on the battlefield games - so i m amusing that its has the same problem - doh!!

sounds like its a no go really. i've seen a different usb gfx card but it also is rather rubbish. theres nothing else you can do but get a new pc/laptop

the on i saw on this slideshow thing had something lyk a 7900gt or a 7600gt in it it might be worth chasing them up but it would probably just be easier to get a new lappy/desktop

yeah, ASUS thing, connects to some sort of express socket on a laptop and provides you with 1x pcie slot - ASUS said Feb 2007, but, by the time it gets to europe/release etc you are looking at a few months I would think.

and you are looking at being able to put a high end gfx card in it :)

designed for people on the road, who get home, then want to play on their TFT.

Because of this... my next pc may be a laptop instead...
