x20 range

hello,
following a post on your contact us system and no reply i am looking for information concerning x20 laptops

i am currently working on the road and am considering the x20 for its small size and mobility

however, before considering a purchase i am looking to gain some more information:

what is the manufacturer of the wireless lan component?
is the laptop fully compatible with linux?
what is the battery life? (without using dvd etc.)
also, do you have any better photos of the unit?

i am also interested in novatechs line and when will be superseded.

i am looking at the current base model (core duo), however i would like to know when novatech may replace/update it (as with all technology) as then i may put of purchase awaiting any upgraded model
