What are novatech laptops like?
Is their battery life good?
Are they easy to upgrade?
Are replacement batteries cheap?

Also what do the turion processors compare like with the amd64s?
Would a centrino be better for battery life?

I've been looking at buying either but my main worry is battery life...

Any feedback would be appreciated :)

I can't comment on either of those models but I have a 15 month old Mk 1 version of this: http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/nbrange.html?CSF the battery life is incredible, sometimes almost 3 hours and this is without any power conservation. Much better than the Dell it replaced and 100 times better than my IBM T30 which will sometimes run until it's booted before the battery dies! Great thing about that sort of battery life is it allows me to run the battery almost flat before recharging it, thus lengthening it's life.

I believe my laptop is a Mitac based machine.

HTH.

I have recently purchased a Crossfire 2 (£703) with no OS,i am very pleased with the build quality and overall performance.I think its a very good machine for the money.

I dont recommend a titan2 or titan pro, they tend to get very hot
