Good morning all, hopefully this will be an easy solve.

As the title says I have a 648FX-A (pentium 4) Novatech motherboard bundle, I've had it absolutely ages now and its still serving me well thanks :)
It can hold three 184-pin PC3200 400mhz DDR SDRAM memory modules. Currently its got the original 184-pin PC3200 400mhz 512mb stick in place.
I've just tried to fit 3 1GB sticks in and when I booted my pc dropped to the pick a way to boot up - safe mode, safe mode with command prompt etc etc. I removed 2 of the sticks (from slots 2&3) and it booted and reported 512mb, turns out what I'd brought wasn't SDRAM it was DRAM so I've got that sorted the returns number is here and I'll pop it round the post office in a bit.

My problem is that I can't work out what ram to buy now, the stuff I thought was right (RAM-40/1G) isn't and I've been looking and looking through the memory here on the Novatech site and I can't work out which 1GB memory I need, the SDRAM here has 168 pin modules whereas I need 184 pin modules, my poor head I'm very confused. Somebody who knows what I need please put me out of my misery thankyou :D

Try any of these here.

This type of memory works best in pairs. e.g If you want 1GB of RAM buy 2x512MB Sticks.
